OI Challenge by VfL Wolfsburg

VfL Wolfsburg is a German football club that was founded in 1945 and has played successfully in the 1st Bundesliga for many years.

In the context of various innovation activities, the club likes to look beyond the boundaries of the football industry when searching for new ideas and start-ups. That was also the case in the first Open Innovation Challenge, which was launched at the beginning of 2022 by VfL. The aim of the challenge was to find ideas and inspiration for new and innovative business areas that go beyond VfL's standard sports business.
